TABLEAUX
Troupe Vertigo's newest creation Tableaux features five women harnessing their physicality to the extreme. By incorporating contortion, dance, aerial acrobatics and humor they explore the concepts of confinement, as we are all asked to put our selves into boxes of limitation either by society or ourselves, as a way to help to define our potential. Through embarking on a poetic and visually enticing journey expectations bend, movement twists and the body encapsulates the imagination in a mentally and physically spell binding, boundary pushing adventure.
